Announcing Our 2026–2029 Strategic Plan

 

At Puertas Abiertas, we believe our community deserves more than services—it deserves a trusted home, a strong advocate, and a future built on dignity, culture, and opportunity.

 

We are proud to share our 2026–2029 Strategic Plan: A Future Rooted in Culture, Strength, and Community Wisdom. This plan reflects months of listening, collaboration, and visioning with our staff, board, partners, and community. It builds on over 20 years of service while responding to the urgent needs facing Latine and immigrant families today.

 

Over the next three years, we will focus on six strategic priorities:

• Strengthening culturally grounded programs and direct services

• Building long-term financial sustainability

• Investing in organizational infrastructure

• Developing staff and board leadership

• Deepening community partnerships

• Elevating the voices and stories of our community

 

This roadmap is more than a plan—it is our commitment to ensuring that every family who walks through our doors is welcomed with trust, compassion, and the support they need to thrive.
